Intuition and Leadership
Intuition is often overlooked when discussing great leadership traits. Leaders will readily find themselves in unchartered waters, that is, leading by example without an example to follow. Developing the sense to know how to move forward without a roadmap can be honed. Great intuition is developed symbiotically with good character skills.
Often it is a leader’s intuition that helps to quickly solve a problem or understand a good course of action when the course is unknown. Intuition can be honed by understanding and adhering to sound principles of character, such as honesty, accountability, responsibility, and courage. It takes courage to trust one’s intuition and it takes the resolve of character development to hone intuition
"It is by logic we prove, it is by intuition we discover" - Leonardo da Vinci
